It's a meme website that was very popular during the early 2010s. They were hated by 4chan and Reddit because 90% of their content was stolen from the former two, and because the moderators censored and shadowbanned users who were critical of the website. It was considered "normie cringe" the same way tiktok would be now I guess. I used to be a frequent user between 2014 - 2016. It's just mind blowing to me how much the tides have changed, where 9gag is somehow the less cringe website.
I had a similar conclusion a few days ago when I was rewatching Filthy Frank videos for good ol times sake. According to every blue hair, those videos are "cringe" and "outdated", I should've watched those videos and thought they were bad, but I didn't, those videos are still as funny as I remember them. That's when I had the realization that there aren't any funny youtubers anymore. Almost every youtuber I watch nowadays makes short documentaries or something. I think the last standing youtuber I watch that makes me laugh is JonTron. There might be more but the point is, I don't see anyone even attempting to be funny anymore. That bizarre internet humor people like Frank perfected is pretty much gone.
My tinfoil hat conspiracy theory is they're trying to draw attention to anime and manga to distract the public from the actual pedophiles in the government and the elite class. Every single time one of these rich celebrity elites gets caught, they have CP, not lolis, not manga, not anime, CP, like actual CP.

By far the group of people I hate the most are rich progressive NIMBYs. They vote for awful laws but conveniently live far away from everyone else where they don't have to live with their consequences. I think DeSantis is controlled opposition but fuck it, this is based as fuck, and I'm glad DeSantis did it. The fact that the progressives are outraged by this has completely exposed them for the hypocrites they are. By their account, they should be glad. According to progressives, Texas and Florida are backwards gun toting redneck states, so why should the unhoused (PC way of saying homeless) have to live with those awful racist nazis? Shouldn't they be glad the unhoused get to live with them on their all-white gated communities up north?
The UK government will have their way and British sword owners won't do shit. The media will probably demoralize them to give up their swords, and dehumanize anyone who wants one. This is exactly what happened in the 90s when they banned handguns.
