Whenever I had to use an apple laptop all I could think of how unusable that OS is. The constant animations that slow you down, the ever disappearing bottom panel, many more details that make the experience much inferior to something like Kubuntu. I think a big part of the m1 is marketing. You can get a great laptop for a fraction of the price of a macbook, replace the screen to the best IPS screen on the market and have unsoldered RAM and SSD. Apple is a joke and treats its customers like sheep.

After reading the book, you might like 1984 movie better. I did. I think the new movie is bad, not because of gender/race swap, but because it's just a regular Hollywood throwaway movie, with bad plot, consists mostly of action scenes, does bad storytelling and character development.
