Best part is, they are going to win the Nobel Peace prize. In their defense The virus spreads a lot more then the flue, although at this point I am not sure about that either.
There is so much bad information that it is impossible to tell what the wuflu does. The only thing I'm confident about is that Chinese researchers were fucking with its RNA before it got out of the lab.

Except it's exaclty what is happening anyway. Sweden managed it best : increased hygene and prevention for high-risk caring facilities, telling at risk people to isolate themselves when circulation is high, letting low-risk people get over it and develop their immune system, no disastrous lockdowns.
Special liar points awarded to the WHO for falsely claiming that, paraphrasing "never in the history of public health was it decided to let a virus roam free to reach immunity".

The virus is going to roam free regardless of what is decided because China encouraged its spread across the world early. Once you have a single case that you can't trace out of the country or back to patient zero, the game is over.
