I know about the "Stormfront" character....but how bad did it end up?
The season is on my plex server, trying to decide whether to watch or delete sight unseen.
EDIT: Just to be clear, I don't care if it followed the comic, so not interested in those complaints.
Stromfront morphs into a standin for conservatives and the last episode is as about as subtle in its messaging as the stardard lefty meme.
Overall can't say season 2 is worth watching.
Homelander is the stand-in for conservatives - A crybaby hiding behind a toughguy exterior who is easily seduced by nazis even though he doesn't believe their bullshit.
It was pretty woke.
It puts the concept of white genocide which is arguably quite provable these days into the mouth of a really despicable cunt, I mean the anti-white sentiment in the west is quite disgusting...but it's just nazis that would object to that of course.
I liked the show despite that...quite good, I think I might leave it there though.
I'm sensing a weird parallel between lefties calling people they don't like "literally nazis" and then Stormfront turning out to be an actual literal nazi.
Also her getting beat up by the 3 super females while every male member of the boys looks on helplessly and flaccidly before one whimpers "wow, girls get it done!" was painful as hell to watch.
Unlike the actual wailing going on because none of the 3 actresses seemed to be able to act like they were fighting.
When they montage tons of quick cuts of slaps and punches and reactions like that, you know someone behind the camera said "whatever, fuck it. We'll clean it up in editing."
It's continuing to walk a fascinating tight-rope of centrism - which, honestly, is what the most popular entertainment always does.
The AOC stand-in has been revealed to be a manipulative mass-murdering super, but we'll once again have to wait until next season to whether that really means she's evil or not.

You'd think so, but I don't put it past the kind of people who write these shows to go unironic BAMN wokeness and say 'Atually, her evil acts were justified!'.
