So I guess we now know that the rules were not really about Preventing Reddit Admins from banning the community since these rules are the same
Funny what happens when you know longer the "the admins" to hide behind, I wonder what the new excuse will be
Yeah, because you can reasonably expect us to have fully hammered out a huge set of revisions to our rules already, when we were forced to bring the site online so quickly we don't even have the CSS working yet.
I’ve kept an eye on half-KiA’s .win even though I don’t participate, and I’ve seen posts removed, so the mods are clearly active.
I don't know what what's left of the mod team is doing.
I know Hat's busy AF IRL running a business (two, really), and I still bounce memes and politics off him from time to time, but I don't much know what the shit part of the mod team is up to, nor have I the inclination to look in to it.
I would honestly say the rules being copypasted over from plebbit and not loosened are just pure laziness to the point of gross incompetence.
I hate how they act like moderation is a huge burden that people should just shut up about and be thankful for, yet they don’t just step down or agree to share the responsibility with the community.
It's like the flip side of "what have conservatives 'conserved'?". They've conserved their ideal of what the sub should be to such an extent that they've ended up in opposition to the community they're trying to conserve. In effect their attempt at conserving the community has destroyed it.
Why does half KIA even have one? We should have been CultureWar.win.
Somehow they got in contact with .win before we did, even though I'd been trying to contact .win for a month prior.
Or Gamergate.win. Our branding feels clumsy at this point. We even still call ourselves a subreddit.
It's an emergency fallback for when Reddit finally decides to drop the axe.

The mods might be active, but the users aren't.
Maybe they would have better luck if there were actually a reason to use the .win. Like even somewhat more loosened rules.

As if we needed any more evidence that halfKiA was controlled opposition.
I'll quote myself from the very thread you archived
That said, I still wished for more content on Half-KIA. As of now my daily dose of outrage is halved -.-

there's like no activity over there. Kinda sad
Isn't like half their content submitted exclusively by B-VOLLEYBALL-READY? I swear to god whoever runs that account is a simp for KiA1.
It's worrying how much he posts
Volleyball and LunarArchivist.
They're good people still fighting the good fight, they just don't have a good place to present their work.
Censorship protruding, very disrespectful.

Try the course of six years.
It started when we were banned from posting targets for email campaigns, which were the single most effective thing we ever did. Six years ago.
Controlled Opposition.
Learn to guard against it.
I'm looking at you Dom.
Noted.
Aren't we all? <3
Wait, did I say that out loud? >.>
ctrl+f imagine my shock
hmmm, nothing...
Imagine my shock
Makes you wonder why those cucks even made a .win
