Simply seeing Yoda hurts the soul. They've so fully and completely destroyed Star Wars for me with the release of the sequel trilogy. I'm a bonafide salt miner on Krait now.
I'm sure they'll gleefully destroy The Mandalorian second season since it was such an unexpected success. Of course, they'll only realize too late that it was a success because people had low expectations and didn't bother interfering.
Anyway, I went way off-topic, but this idea that math is racist is just another fad by activists to pretend to be deep-thinkers. They'll grasp for anything as long as it allows them to pretend race is somehow intrinsically involved. The idea that Arabic numerals and the accompanying math are somehow racist because white people use them is not only stupid, it's racist in itself.
You'll also notice how they always have to use sophistry, or change the literal rules of the equation in order to reach their goofy conclusions.
Changing to modular arithmetic doesn't make it any more true, it's just playing more games, since modular arithmetic follows different rules.
James Lindsay wrote a fantastic article that completely debunks this nonsense: https://newdiscourses.com/2020/08/2-plus-2-never-equals-5/
As someone who sucks at math, I still really like math. It's the pure, unadulterated, unbiased language of the universe. So these people pushing 2+2=5 are some of the most idiotic, disgusting, and heretical "things" that I've ever seen.
Also the other thing I love about math is that it will crush you without mercy if you fuck it up.
I went thru this. I was an average Star Wars fan, I liked KOTOR1&2, I was reading the books, watch the old movies every now and then.
After TLJ I gave away my lego star wars ship collection to a kid simply out of anger. I do regret it a bit but not that much as I thought. I never read another Star Wars book simply because it hurt. However for some unknown reason I still have my lightsaber I bought from ultrasabers.
I already hated Force Awakens but I gave it another shot with TLJ and that was the end for me.
