How can anyone have a Netflix subscription after reading this nonsense?
I avoided piracy as the main source of my entertainment for as long as possible. Looks like the time has come.
If only there was actually shit worth watching.
There's more than a hundred years of film entertainment. I'm doing pretty good.
You just have to learn to live without modern special effects.
Random suggestion, check out The Prisoner series starring Patrick McGoohan from 1967. Nothing like it before or since.
The Prisoner is one of the greatest pieces of television ever made. They gave the game away 50 years ago, and with the WuFlu we pretty much all live in The Village now.
Yes Minister is another great piece of television which perfectly describes the Deep State as personified by Sir Humphrey Appleby.
My wife has all of that and Yes, Prime Minister on DVD.
I'd also suggest giving Father Ted a go if you don't mind something a bit sillier.
I actually liked the 2009 mini series as well.
I want to like it and have tried watching it several times, but something about it just doesn't sit right with me (and it's not just how it ends, though I think the ending is sadly more fitting with modernity).
Same here. I've been watching a lot of classic stuff lately and having a fucking ball.
Shit, I found myself enjoying "Ma and Pa Kettle At Home" a lot more than I thought I would.
Been running through Babylon 5 and X-Files lately, as I didn't get to watch 'em much back in the day, and definitely not in order (basically, only a scattered episode here and there.)
Ma and Pa Kettle are pretty funny. I'm not ashamed to admit it, haha. I like some of the old Marx Brothers comedies too.
I've been watching a lot of Kurosawa and John Ford movies, Rawhide (the old western series that made Clint Eastwood famous), and original Twilight Zone (the one from the 60's with Rod Serling).
Oh, no doubt about classics. I only meant the more recent stuff on streaming services. I've seen people talk about pirating those, and I'm just like, 'why?'
There is.
Netflix is for globalists.
Mindhunter season 3 and Castlevania season 4 are the only upcoming things worth caring about. Luckily I don't pay for that shit anymore and just use my brother's account.
Most people who have Netflix probably don't follow them on Twitter.
Remember all those people on Tumblr who claimed that every character is transgender, and everyone laughed at them?
That’s this person. And also their peers that are creating these shows. And kids growing up on the politically-motivated media these people create.
These people may be jokes, but their danger is very serious.
Yep. They also include themselves in the fanfiction stories as Mary Sues.
Mary-Sues and self-inserts in fanfic have been a thing forever, this whole crop of "I need characters that look like ME otherwise I can't enjoy this" strikes me as something a bit different than just reading too much fanfic, I think narcissism (They're the center of the universe in their eyes, of course every show should cater to them) more than anything.
What? Dude is just trying to dodge bullets that's all there is to it
Ah yes. Chopping your dick off due to mental illness is just like living in slow motion and having super powers.
Bullet time is not transgender.
If you want to believe your own spin on things? Sure, go ahead. That doesn't magically make it so.
Christ...another decent movie series bites the feminine cock.
Ya Instead of doing shit-sjw infused remakes they're just doing it retroactively now.
This is the dumbest argument, especially when coming from some anonymous Netflix Twitter cunt.
Fuck that shitty creator and his overrated movie
The Matrix is a pretty awesome movie. Note how very specific I'm being.
I watched it later in life than most people and it did not live up to the hype for me.

Is this what the Wachovskis said?
A critic who apparently wrote a book on the movie. If you click the embedded tweet, it's part of a series of tweets with similar BS. I thought this one was the funniest.
That makes it so much worse. At least if they said it, it would be an excuse to virtue signal.
apparently they're both trannies and the films were always about trannies
It was called "Max Payne" because she was in the maximum level of pain having to project as her "biological sex" (like that's even real lol).
They were just afraid to say that outloud back in the day.
This reeks of high school English Lit where students look for SOMETHING to pad out essays.
