Why am I not surprised that the scholar was Asian? There was a similar study done by a black Harvard professor recently, and he didn't get fired. Seems like you have to have the right skin color to bring facts to this particularly discussion.

It's a day ending in -y so Asians are honorary Aryans today. Should've checked the calendar before publishing those no-good wrong-think figures.

Sounds like systematic racism to me.

Just not the way the marxists and CCP would like ..

It isn't because he is black. It is because Harvard.

His mistake was resigning. Never resign. Never apologize. Make them fire you.

He’s still a professor, just not vice president of research and innovation.

This came after the union, which represents teaching and research assistants, crawled through years of blog posts and interviews Hsu had conducted and criticized him for sharing content on genetic differences among different races.

If there are no genetic differences among races, then there is no natural reason for different races, which means that there is no such thing as white on black murders because you cannot ask the person who died what their race is.

An open letter signed by more than 500 faculty and staff at Michigan State argued Hsu supports the idea that intelligence is linked to genetics.

If genetics don’t play a factor in intelligence, then there is no such thing as having an intellectual disability, e.g. having Down’s syndrome doesn’t explain them having the intellectual capacity of a 5 year old.

The graduate union told The Fix that administrators should not share research that runs counter to public statements by the university.

Glad to see academic freedom is alive and well at Michigan State.

President Stanley released a statement on June 19 where he defended his decision to pressure Hsu to resign. “I believe this is what is best for our university to continue our progress forward. The exchange of ideas is essential to higher education, and I fully support our faculty and their academic freedom to address the most difficult and controversial issues.” “But when senior administrators at MSU choose to speak out on any issue, they are viewed as speaking for the university as a whole. Their statements should not leave any room for doubt about their, or our, commitment to the success of faculty, staff and students,” he added.

*Unless it offends someone. Then we will ignore the science behind it.

This is the state of science, to varying degrees, for the last 20 years at least. 60-80 for historians. Our civilization is damaged on a very fundamental level.

Remember, Deplorables, the left is all about science.

This is Orwellian possibly beyond repair.

It's a ridiculous taboo and unscientific to boot. We know so much more about genetics but people are terrified to explore exactly how genetics influence us when it comes to things like race. Nobody's arguing that we need to dehumanize or treat people worse because of their genetics, but claiming this as an untouchable issue just because it's been used poorly in the past isn't how science works. We could use this knowledge to help us, but it's been sealed off by the leftist mob.

Just look at James Watson. They're terrified because that exploration can ruin your career.

The sad thing is, if we could actually study this shit objectively, we could probably find targeted treatments for people who are prone to anti-social behaviors by their genetics.

And just like that, people suddenly stopped f***ing loving science.

Should've stood his ground. Science doesn't care about feelings.

"Attack the enemy. If you don't die in combat you will be tried and guillotined."

Just like the French Revolution. Again.

Universities have policies that if you study a group, find that they are worse at something, and do anything except blame "the majority", that you are engaging in racism/sexism/whateverism. It's the reverse of the truth on purpose.
