People? I'm sure you mean, Millenials, Zoomers, Boomers, and Xers. Why would such different people with opposing interests work together?
People? I'm sure you mean whites blacks and indigenous and people of color all of whom are very different and would have nothing in common and would never work together.
People? I'm sure you mean athiest, Christian, Muslim, Pagan, Hindu, Jewish, Chinese traditional religion... why would all these different religions work together.

Divisions are like cryptocurrencies. You can make as many as you need to subdivide things to something manageable for those in control.
Universities have policies that if you study a group, find that they are worse at something, and do anything except blame "the majority", that you are engaging in racism/sexism/whateverism. It's the reverse of the truth on purpose.
