They're probably referring to the Singer study:
tl;dr: Actors played a game, while an even split of male and female test subjects hooked up to brain scanners observed. One actor was cheating, one was playing fair; both got a mild shock. Foids felt "empathy" for both actors including the cheater, while men felt nothing/a dopamine hit when the cheater was shocked.
tl;dr of the tl;dr: Women are morally retarded and the 19th Amendment was a mistake.

I'm not sure I would feel any different about these either, unless somehow they convinced me it wasn't a setup, which seems implausible.
