I know Walmart owns Lowe's, or at least part of it.

I ask partly because I was just there, today. They were the only place with something specific I needed immediately.

Walmart does not own Lowe's. Both are completely independent, publicly traded corporations with their own separate management and ownership structures.

Walmart owns Sams Club. Who the hell told you that Walmart owns Lowes?
