people say.. how come they use white actors for greek back then??
whites are at least much closer shading to greeks than a charcoal black african lol. greeces are on the european continent and not african continent... so white actors are a few magnitudes more appropriate for playing greek characters.
Back then, or now, they could just... use Greeks. Or Sicilians, if you leave them out in the sun too long.
