The one positive thing out of this is it's going to make me switch to Linux and Graphene OS right away here. Tomorrow for Linux now that I've got time.

I'm also cutting all Google apps.

I'll be getting a raspberry pi with unbound setup right away as well.

I'll keep my centralized VPN for now but will be switching to a decentralized soon. I've also got my Bitcoin and Monero wallets setup along with a Bitcoin exchange.

It's going to get a lot harder to track me thanks to the EU.

I've thought about this yesterday. Surely the demon lords know that free software will become a problem. It was my guess that they'll try to demonize and subvert linux very soon. Pull off a "those rape gangs used linux to communicate!" to force every linux distro to comply with regulations, then force distributors to block downloads of those distros that don't comply and in the meanwhile subvert the main if not all distros by injecting them with troonpowered coders. Hell, they can even vibecode a massive virus attack aimed purely at linux users and then claim "look how safe windows is!"

Maybe, depends on adoption. I think they don't care to fully prevent bypassing their control systems. It's all about just gaining control over the normies. I've talked to my normie friends who all think what the government is doing is bad but none of them will switch any of the regular software they use even when I hand it to them on a silver platter.

Yeah, the slow boiling is essential. Many are too lazy to switch and a lot of goyim just upgrade to newer software because "new = good". A sudden increase in temperature would make a lot of people switch to linux or even realize they're being cooked. I'm fairly comfortable on my copy of win10 for now although i imagine either it'll be forcefully deprecated or something else happens that will force me to switch.

Yeah it is like pulling teeth to get normies to adopt safer technology. "Corporations already have all my information anyways, so why bother," is the most common phrase I hear, or something like, "How will switching to Linux or GrahpheneOS save me money."

Why do you think those "age verification must be done at the OS level," legislations are being pushed? Distros will either be made illegal or cede a little at a time until they have to include some opaque, unremovable (why do you think systemd is taking over more and more of the system?) government-published binary or be raided.

Yep. I wonder if things like storage drives or other pc components would be able to lock you out of using them unless you provide your face.
