I still don’t understand why they would have their second film be Supergirl. Should have been a Batman or Wonder Woman film second.
Because drunk thot Supergirl cameo'd last minute in the Superman movie, so they had to make a Supergirl movie as a pseudo-sequel.
It should have been a Superman supergirl combo film lol. Then if people like her make a movie with just her.

Because James Gunn is in charge of the DCU, technically they had Suicide Squad and Peacemaker already too.
The more pressing question in my mind is why isn't the title "James Gunn Presents James Gunn's Supergirl by James Gunn, a James Gunn Production."
