I was just talking to someone in person last week about someone else not only who look very similar but have the same first and last name. Funny enough the one I saw on TV was in trouble with the law. There's no way AI facial recognition wouldn't match those two up. It's all bullshit. Tons of people look the same.
OK, I watched the video. Judging from the images shown, a 93% facial recognition match is about as useful as Ellen Page's pretend wang
Just my guess, but 93% "match" would include hundreds if not thousands of people. Like fingerprints, it is not actual science, just guesswork.
As a statistical aside, even a 99.95% match would result in a significant amount of matches in any major city.
I think it looks like a 60% match at best
