The fuck happened? Did they not padlock the shutter door? Did they leave the keys in the ignition?
Amateur mistake. You keep all important docs on your person until you settle into the new place.
A padlock that fits on a uhaul isn't going to keep a determined attacker out for long.
The thieves apparently hotwired the truck and drove off with it to steal at their leisure.
The other explanation is the dykes left the keys in the ignition overnight, which is phenomenally stupid.
My guess is the latter.
