Not-fun fact: after this video, that police force paid to give the horses special training to become acclimatized to that kind of road defacement.
To be fair, the second thought I had watching this was that rioters could paint them as a barrier to impede mounted police.
If I were in a car or on a bike I'd be pretty pissed if I turned down a one way road and had to wait behind two horses walking at 3mph with a horse sized sidewalk next to it.
Oh, it could be desensitization training too. That'd make sense as well.
Still funny how horses have enough "horse sense" to dislike the rainbow 😄
