I don’t see very many Black people in AA meetings, and now I know why

On top of everything else I have to deal with as a Black man in America, I can’t even find a safe place to be “Black” and stay sober.

not even racism now... he feels like it's inappropriate to whine about racism at a help group that has nothing to do with racism... not because it has nothing to do with racism, but because the thing that turned his life around and made it exponentially better was founded by White Christian revivalists almost a century ago.

how identity cucked does one have to be to rage about that?
