You can, theoretically, have women as the protagonist and have a realistic story, it'll just be very different from a male led story. The women will be the underdog in any physical conflict but you could have her use other skills or abilities to pull out a victory.
Frankly, though, it's not worth even looking for this kind of diamond in the rough. The good writers have been forced out and no one will real life experience is welcome.
Any realistic fight between a man and a woman, not a pussified play fight in a McDojo but a full-on kill-or-die situation, would easily resemble RAPE. Such a scene would never get made in any mainstream movie, not in the gynocracy we live in.
