This is the government's fault. Laws should protect natives. All hiring should prioritize citizens and all layoffs should prioritize foreigners.
Nope... India has their own PAC specifically to include H1B acception within trade deals and to get congress to support H1B over Americans.
I read meta wants to spend more on ai, but they don't have the money. Hence the layoffs.
