I take personal interest in the downright slaughter of the contrast in the lighting. I've always thought that modern society was killing nuance and making everything indistinguishable shades of grey, but man! Absolutely nothing pops in that second screenshot, even ignoring the two elephants missing from the room.
The move from baked lighting to realistic ray tracing means a noticeable loss in cinematography along with it.
Okay, so that is the actual face they "remastered". It looks like dog shit compared to the first one.
