The right was, for decades, completely dominated by lip service politics. Republican voters were promised the moon and back just for each elected official to become a moderate leftist in office. One of the biggest hypes about trumps first term was the end of lip service. We thought an “outsider” willing to call a spade a spade would stop the ethnic replacement of America and return American exceptionalism mentality. The inability to do it in the first term was blamed on the “Rinos”. This has now been proven to be lip service, just in a different form. Bush also ran as the “outsider” and handing America the basis of the modern illegal immigration epidemic. Trump is now just using lip service the same way leftists use “raise awareness”. He will say anything while doing nothing and people eat it up. This is where the 4d chess, yada yada comes from.

The state department is saying remigration, but where is it? We’re not even on track for 2 million deportations in Trumps second term. We’re not removing H1Bs, we doubled H2Bs, we have done nothing to actually facilitate any real remigration, so instead we get lip service. They will boldly proclaim and do nothing.
Frankly, I think re-migration is itself a psyop.
First, it's be prohibitively expensive. Possible yes, but it would cost thousands, if not tens of thousands, of dollars per person.
Second, it provides justification for stripping down civil liberties. I'm all for allowing ICE to stop people for ID checks in the interest of finding illegals but I'm under absolutely no illusion it would stop there. Most, if not all, of the public surveillance legislation came about to stop 9/11 but it doesn't seem to be able to catch foreigners planning mass shootings or even presidential assassinations, it just ties up lines at the airport.
Third, even if you spend all the money and give up your rights to kick out the immigrants (illegal only, at that); nothing stops them from hopping right back over the border. It's a total waste of time without much better border controls than we have currently.
Once again, they're using talking points from people who've been discussing this for years; discussions they denounced right up until they realised it was getting popular. As you say, lip service.
Just arrest and perp walk a few employers. Literally irrelevant if they're out of jail the next day, just put a CEO in orange in the news cycle once.
