They also rode their huge train of praise of all the PS4 exclusives into thinking everything they dropped out was game of the year. I never thought most of those were even that good at all. They were so much the same, boring gameplay loops, any difficulty if at all relegated to being unrealistic. They'd have some feel-y story that liberals would eat up and pretty graphics that were very sterile. Nothing around moves or interacts, it's a player moving through a photograph.
That was only going to sustain if they kept their audience, so intentionally or not they lean into the faggotry to realize that game journalists are the only ones that care about that and they don't buy games.
Sony America pulled the woke bait-and-switch with all of their biggest franchises. God of War 2, Spiderman 2, Last of Us 2, Ghost of Tsushima 2, Horizon 2 - all became more woke than the previous entry. Girl bosses, lesbians, emasculated heroes, etc. The only normal game they've put out in the last several years is Astrobot, and that immediately won game of the year.
When they put some of these games out on PC, sales were average at best. These woke blockbusters only sold big on PS4/5 because 1) console fanboys flock to exclusives and 2) goodwill based on less woke previous games.
I had a PS4 and played pretty much all of those games PS4 era titles. They didn't get much from me, I bought them all for ten bucks each and then sold the PS4 for more than I paid, but still played them all. God of War probably my favorite of those, and I think the sequel is perhaps the least woke, but still if it popped up on GOG for $10 I probably don't buy it. The original GoW games were much better and not just typical third person slop.
I have to think the people buying those games on PS5 are halfway the ones that feel like they must to "see the power of their investment" because the reality is there's nothing on that console.
