For the purposes of accuracy the SPLC wasn't funding these organisations, they were paying individuals as "informants" so they could continue their grift. I haven't seen anything that the organisations bills were derived from the SPLC directly.
Not that it matters, drive this to the hilt.
Faux News already sealed the narrative about this. Their big story is The SPLC funds white nationalism. And MAGA is against that.

That's what's being reported from the indictments, they were paying individuals.
If you want to fund an organisation you pay the organisation, not the individuals.
