It's all supply/demand. The issue isn't that old guys are flabbergasted by modern makeup like u/Ahaus667 says but it's just there's no women given the demand. There really isn't. 70% of women are overweight. So many women refuse to put any effort into their look because they got a degree and men should like them for their degree or whatever. We have an extremely serious supply shortage of women which is causing hoeflation. If 1/4 of overweight women got to a healthy weight, that would solve the problem I imagine but they aren't. If you're a man with excess money you don't want a fat chick so any woman who puts a little effort in to her look, isn't overweight and isn't a total bitch to men is PREMIUM. These women know it too so they charge money for it. I've ran the numbers before and about 25% of non-overweight women are selling themselves for sex (somehow).
