Yes. At the same time, he's clearly losing his marbles now, and he doesn't have the self-awareness to not post deranged rants.
I don't know, but I do know that his psychopathic babbling offends fewer people, for some reason, when it's off platform. So ironically, it helped him a lot.
Beta has a specific meaning that's (mostly) specific to the manosphere and it's still used in those contexts.
It's the Greek character itself. Beta is a measure of volatility. Specifically the ratio of an individual stock's covariance to the market vs. the market's overall variance. Neutral beta is risk in line with the market. Low beta is less volatile than the market. "High beta" is something riskier than average.
I personally think it's from a polymarket gambler who doesn't know the difference between earnings and profits, and thinks whatever he's currently grifting on is 'based', because all words have lost all meaning...
