Thank goodness we got amazing film adaptations before they could have been ruined by these bozos.
Peter Jackson is coming to destroy his previous work with a new set of films.

Yeah I'd consider that time (early to mid 00s) the best we'd ever get from cinema. It was a lovely time where faithful adaptations could be made with enough advancements in CGI to bring the world's to life, but a bit before the turbo woke infestation hit all the studios.
Lion witch and wardrobe adaptations were pretty faithful back then as well. If only we could have gotten more before it all went to shit.
The fact they fired the Tolkien scholar and then talking about needing to reflect the world we live in was a huge red flag from the start
I hope he wastes several fortunes on it.
