I'd exempt white collar crimes from the gun ban. I don't believe dealing drugs is a common law felony but allowing DeShawn the crack dealer to own a gun is a violent crime waiting to happen since the judiciary and parole boards can't be relied on.
The problem is that if you live in a blue state that doesn't like you defending yourself, if you shoot a guy in a way that doesn't perfectly toe the line of legality in the heat of the moment, and a jury convicts you, you lose your gun rights forever. Even if you are morally in the right you can still lose them because you didn't retreat hard enough for the blue judge and the black jury will just convict you anyway because you are white.
DeShawn the crack dealer is going to find a way to get a gun when he inevitably gets released anyway, legal or not. Laws only control the law abiding. This means that assuming you get released from jail for the "crime" in the above paragraph, if you abide by the law, you are effectively defenseless. This means that you will have to commit a felony in order to stay armed and able to defend yourself against armed attackers in the future.
All these laws do is let the anarcho-tyranny state have an easier time punishing white people for existing, because as we have all seen countless times before, courts don't hold nonwhites to the same standard that they hold whites.
In a sane society I would prefer that violent felons not have access to guns, but we don't live in a sane society, we live in clown world. In clown world you get blacks released 50 times over after murdering whites, but a white guy shaving a quarter inch off a metal tube gets the FBI murdering his family and a prison sentence.
There's three states of being:
There's a lot of people who need to go to the gallows.
