That Netflix Punisher show was one of the beta-iest cuckiest takes you could have on the character the Punisher. That character is designed to be based. You have to go out of your way to make it feel low T.
First major characterization thing they got wrong. Frank Castle doesn't talk to people. I mean, he'll say things to people. But he doesn't make small talk.
If you want the example, just watch Punisher 1989, Punisher 2004, or Punisher War Zone and note how and when the Punisher talks. That's how chatty the Punisher should be. Jon Bernthal's version will crack open a beer and talk to a woman he knows like he's a character on Friends or something.
Utter faggot version of the Punisher. I only watched the first season and even that was a struggle. The punishment is watching the show, and hearing him lecture and pontificate and have social interactions 20 times more than he pulls a trigger.
That is not the Punisher. They messed up with tons of other stuff, but the main thing that I mentioned is what made him ball-less and the most unlike his actual character. Also his character literally is in post war PTSD therapy group.
If you know the Punisher character, you know he's more traumatized by the idea of not being in combat. There's a Punisher origin story of back when Frank Castle was in the war where some of the perspective is told from people serving under Frank Castle and they note that he's crazy because they can tell he's at home in this environment. Other people are "manning up" for this vietnam war, but Frank Castle is a natural born killer, he only feels natural here. Frank Castle is not a guy who comes back from his tour and joins PTSD therapy groups. He'd be more traumatized about having no one to kill anymore, like the serious version of the character Major Payne.
The point of Frank Castle is the family is just the excuse for him to be what he wants to be, which is why his vengeance extends far beyond the killers of his family. In typical vengeance stories, the person takes out the people who did him wrong and then walks off into the sunset.
With the Punisher, it's clear it's not really about vengeance for him as he avoids chances to walk off into a sunset because he's a killer and that's all he feels comfortable doing. We root for him because he's cool, but he's basically Jason Voorhees where his targets are criminals at the end of the day. He's not meant to be "humanized" which just takes the balls from his character.
This is hands-down one of the best written synopsis of the character I have read.
It gets to the point and outlines what's wrong with the nu-Punisher depictions.
Despite some elements of cheese, the original three Punisher films all depict a guy short on words, big on action.
I feel Ray Stevenson depicted the most mentally sound and focused version of Frank -- a guy who was on a mission and took his craft as serious as Batman. It was also the only Punisher film that showed his lair as a proper workshop to utilise the tools not just to punish, but also survive any encounters as well. It's too bad the movie itself was trash, but Stevenson and the action choreography at the end in the apartment complex was pretty top notch.
Sadly, in this lame and gay timeline we were never going to get a Stevenson kind of Punisher with an intricate story like The Dark Knight or with a plot line from Sound of Freedom; either one of those settings would have made for an awesome, timeless classic. Instead, we get mopey Punisher trying to deconstruct masculinity and vigilantism.
“Well I mean, no one here ever like read the comics or played the games or anything. We wanted to do our own take and bring this character into the modern era…”
☝️This or some variation of it every fucking time. People who don’t understand (or even read) the source material shouldn’t be anywhere near the IP. But alas, as that dipshit Star Trek doctor keeps telling us, studios own the IP, not the fans. We can all just go fuck ourselves and consume product.
Except that THAT’S not working out so well anymore, is it?
All male characters these days are autistic and can't talk to women. You don't have to be Chad going around and fucking every single woman but you're telling me these characters with absurd physiques which should indicate testosterone levels in the 99th percentile can't display an ounce of confidence towards a female? The only difference is if it's a nigger, then they have all the confidence in the world and fuck every white woman in sight. It's all tiresome jewish propaganda to brainwash white men into this bullshit false-introspective "oh uh I don't know if I'm a good person and I can't talk to people" while still pushing the "niggers are cool" dogshit of the 80s.
Keep in mind leftist morality boils down to tribalism, ie Peacemaker killing nazis is le wholesome but Punisher killing rapists is le bad because he has toxic masculinity
Building on the previous point, leftist aren't able to understand individualism
and are uncomfortable with gray morality and moral dilemmas (despite of what they say), so they have to force a categorization
The video is a snippet of him on Conan's podcast where he talks about the topic of "toxic masculinity".
The length was dictated by how long he talked about it.
It's also a 3 years old video. I just saw it in my sidebar and it got me in rant mode as it made me remember that bullcrap. I'm a little confused at what you're trying to communicate.
Oh, I misinterpreted this as some faggot Breadtuber managing to grift out a Netflix deal. I was just making fun of how those retards love to hear themselves talk, hence the video length being a dead giveaway of what they are.
My favorite part is reading a review that went on a rant about Karen’s sad eyes and how tired he was of seeing them. It was a moment I felt I wasn’t alone, other people can’t stand this bitch and we don’t care how pretty her eyes are the punisher should be shooting someone. Or slapping a polar bear or pulling out someone intestines

Appreciate the compliment! And good to see a fellow fan of the real version of the character.

Worst Punisher ever.
lol Breadtube's Pedoflix debut. You can tell what they are from the video length alone.
I'm confused?
