If they arent from Mexico, call them Mexican anyway. They get really upset
I just refer to them as southlanders. They're all the same and they're all from the lands to the south. It also neatly bypasses the quibbles about which citizenship they may or may not hold. Bullshitted their way to American citizenship? Cool, still a southlander.
