Trump is a false savior. He's controlled opposition to neuter the political dissidents who escaped the false dichotomy political plantation. But, this second layer of control can only occur for a short while, and is merely an impediment to a true savior rising. The people in power think their empire of lies can persist forever. It's hubris beyond hubris, stupidity beyond stupid. Lies destroy themselves. The truth will out, no matter what, no matter how much they try to clamp down on it, censor it, and imprison or kill those that speak it.
We've been in the decline for decades, and it's now accelerating rapidly toward the cliff. The sharks are circling and prodding for weaknesses, because they smell blood in the water. The cracks in the foundations are apparent everywhere, and they're growing and spreading. The discomfort is growing and spreading. The propaganda makes less sense by the day. The inflation rate climbs and accelerates ever higher, because the people in power think they can print infinite fake money to fend off their complete downfall. When people can no longer afford to pay their bills or eat, revolution will happen extremely rapidly. Every excuse for inaction is being taken away.
As that nexus point approaches, true leaders will rise, and they'll be vetted with extreme purity, to fend off the failures accrued over time, built upon learned lessons to spot and reject false saviors, and they will be ruthless beyond anything we've thus far seen. The term "crossing the Rubicon" will pale in comparison to the scale of violence we'll see. Large empires all go through this route. The political machine becomes corrupt and ineffective (at best) toward the interests of the people. This results in the current political machine being overthrown and strong leaders taking its place, to enact change free from the mountain of red tape under the previous system. Caeser and Rome is only one example.
What is assured, is that the current system can't maintain itself, no matter how much it and they will try. It is going to fail, and it will fail spectacularly, because of how interconnected these evil idiots have made everything. This is our only way out of this system, through. It will suck, but it will be necessary. Hardship is vital to re-establish the core foundations of civilization, re-teach the hard lessons, take away people's comfort and excuses, to remind people that we need each other to achieve greater things, to build actual, effective, genuine communities with our own folk, and to condense around strong leaders who will do what's necessary. Every single political solution thus far offered, even the extreme ones, are the "nice" options. When the actual solutions take place, when the strong leaders rise, when the violence starts, almost all of the parasites that have been bleeding us dry for decades will flee to their home countries, or perish.
