It's about working the oil fields in Texas.

The characters are 90+% White and there are basically zero uggos and the main character's daughter is a stonecold 10, pleasant, fun, sexy and interesting, albeit a bit ditsy - bit it just lightens the mood.

Billy Bob Thornton stars and plays a compelling character; people die doing dangerous work, Sam Eliot plays his 82 year old dad compellingly. The Hispastics are all either drug dealers or assholes with a satisfying early plot line that I won't spoil for you. The police, national guard and governor are on Our side.

There are minimal blacks and only one valorised one but he only comes and goes and is free of any trace of Wakanda Forever horseshit. John Hamm plays an oil magnate that owns the company and Demi Moore plays his wife and it works imo.

It's a bit heavy on female interpersonal drama, particularly BBT's wife but it gets handled in a pretty red pilled and/or funny way.

There's a lot of action, the story moves along at pace. I think it's objectively good and not just by comparison to the steaming piles of woke horseshit we've had to put up with for the past decade or two.

Anyway, recommend if you missed it. There's been 20 1-hour episodes so far across 2 seasons with a good setup for an interesting third.
