The jews have never faced a bigger behemoth than Greek bureaucracy (women's suffrage was successfully delayed for almost 20 years because of it), so unless they want to buy a tiny, arid, uninhabited island where they can't build shit, they'll have to spend decades haggling with random inheritors that own a hundredth of an acre.
In April 2013, Ekaterina Rybolovleva, the 24-year-old daughter of Russian oligarch Dmitry Rybolovlev, bought a group of companies from Athina Onassis for $153 million from her trust. The assets included a long term lease to Skorpios and its smaller islet, Sparti. Beginning in October 2018 and with a completion date of 2020, Rybolovleva began developing a 10,000 square metres (110,000 sq ft) luxury resort on Skorpios for a total investment estimated at €184 million. The island is a Natura 2000 protected area with no more than 5% of its area to be developed. The Greek government is yet to confirm the legality of the purchase.
If they were to instigate a war, it would be a Greco-Turkish one in order to weaken Turkey. That's highly unlikely as long as NATO and the EU exist and Turkey feels threatened by Israel.
kek good luck with that

Even buying Skorpios is going to be messy:
And if push comes to shove... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Campbell_pogrom
They could just start a war and use it to claim land that was never theirs. Oops everybody died..looks lile I can take this land.
The Turk strategy against the Greek.
Genocide the Greek on islands and Anatolia. Colonize the places. Claim any pushback by the Greek is an islamaphobia agression.
