Yeah I’d be in favor of all the stuff being made in the US but I’d also rather China get to spy on me than the NSA.
Not that I’m sure a router would make any difference. In most cases they already have the ISP and the OS
But if you are a US company or US government agency it is best the NSA spies on you instead of a foreign adversary.

First of all, strictly speaking the "best" thing would be if all governments just fucked off.
But second, having your government spy on you is literally the worst. What the fuck is China or Russia gonna do to you, an American citizen living in the USA? Run up your credit card on some crypto scam?
Encrypt all your files and then ransom them back to you.
Where have you been since literally the early 2000's? Does the name Snowden ring a bell? This has been going on for over 20 years?
The NSA steals US intellectual property from US businesses like the Chinese do? It seems a little weird to steal from yourself.
