Well, 'detailed preparations', could mean troop movements or the shuffling of paperwork. Either way, the spin will be "that's whats happening."
It's the kind of thing that malicious politics guys can post about where they have no loss condition. Either it turns out they were coincidentally correct and they get to gloat about it, or they were wrong and they just kind of ignore what they were obsessing over five minutes ago and move on to the next subject.
It's probably real troop movements because with the Donald the bluff isn't actually a bluff. He's gone full madman-theory.
The plan obviously is "hey goatfuckers look we have troops and you can't just hide out the bombing in caves so give it up now".
These are the same 'betrayed' people who thought no stupid wars means no wars because to them all wars are stupid.
You'd know if the US was preparing to invade Iran. It would be huge numbers.
