Netflix doesn’t deserve any trust. Their first case will involve the “ghost” of a Confederate veteran which will lead to a discussion on slavery along with Velma showing off her girlfriend.
Honestly at what point will they get tired of mining older shows? I feel kinda bad for the younger generation. So much of their pop culture is rehashes of 80s and 90s stuff. I grew up in the 80s and 90s and we got revivals of shows from the 50s and 60s like the new leave it to beaver (currently binging) but I do t remember endless remakes

Scooby-Doo is such a strange case for this. Including shows, specials, and movies there's been something like a 2 year gap between 1969 and 2025. But the longest running show looks like only 3 years. It's got to be the most remade/rebooted/restarted franchise in history.
I saw a clip a while ago where they put daphnie in the driver seat, literally wearing the pants of the team, and they kicked Fred to the back seat. Whenever he spoke, the girls up front told him to stop "Fredsplaining". No joke.

That is true and up until recently they kept the spirit of the show. As a kid I loved pup named scooby due
Good point, maybe that's why the cast is all white. They're gonna be "taught lessons"
Or they'll go the grrlboss route for the two females

For this show? If so, then it will be an utter flop.
