Shouldn't the metaphor be that pro baseball hitters have HIGHER offensive stats against Nolan Ryan than academics do in standing up to wokeness & pushing back against subversive narratives?
Nolan Ryan = Hall of Fame pitcher, notoriously hard to square up, even for pro MLBers
So wouldn't the comparison be that professional ballplayers, who historically didn't fare well against Ryan, still performed better in the end against him as babyshit-soft researchers afraid of being canceled by gay race communism?
