Well I can happily report that there is at least a segment of the youth that is on board with restricting the franchise more broadly and for women quite specifically. I couldn't tell you how broad that sentiment is, but it exists in large enough quantities that I've encountered it in meat space.
Also I firmly reject the limitation in choices you present. I'm of the belief that reform is in fact possible, it's just that I lack the requisite intelligence to see how to achieve it. There has to be a way, we're just not smart enough to see it.
I'm more aware of that fact than most. Not only my wife but my teenage daughter are both fully in favor of it. It doesn't especially matter how broad the sentiment is either. The proles, truthfully, don't get a say in how other people are going to pick up the pieces of what they broke. The future belongs to the people who want to do something about it, not the slop guzzling masses.
As for whether you like my choices, well frankly you're the one asking me for alternatives. I don't believe there are any. If you believe otherwise it's on you to identify and proliferate that alternative.
