Christ did not come down to this wretched Earth to suffer, be persecuted, tortured and murdered, for our sake, just to be an "alternative," some "second option" to the dead traditions of a disloyal tribe (1 Samuel 8) who repeatedly failed God in favor of demonic effigies (Exodus 32; Acts 7:43).
