The WEF speakers have said exactly that for years now. Not just random bloggers from their basements: the "leading lights" of the WEF say this openly.
You will own nothing: the "15 minute" city. No house (rent apartments only) no car, just walk or take mass transit. No need for savings since the Gov't will provide your daily needs.
You Will Eat Zee Bugs: the current food-chain system is "unsustainable" (they never explain why though) thus alternate protein sources must be found. Bugs, or tofu. Actually lots of cultures globally had bugs as an occasional food, but most drooped the bugs as soon as they could.

When?
Like, I get you're writing a summary of what you think is being said, but what makes you think that this is something being pushed for? Can you give an actual link to them saying instead of just you saying it?
I looked up the 15 minute city, and I don't see anything about it that limits home ownership.
There's also a lot of explanations as to why/how the current food system is unsustainable, but we don't have to go into that now since that'll sidetrack from the discussion at hand (we can of course go into it after we settle this part)
So do you have anything that says we have to only eat bugs and own nothing? Or is it just your thoughts?
We'll say the important part again, just so we're all clear!
I don't know many, or any, movements that push a message of only eating bugs and owning nothing. I only see this on conservative sites.
