What kind of a braindead, dogmatic, tech-worshipping futurist do you have to be to actually own a set of these, let alone to forget to take them off when you go to the bathroom?
It's mostly normies, the ones that just upload albums of their kids to social media without instinctual caution. They just take their prescription of fluoride and high fructose corn syrup when the man urges them to.
The surveillance state is lucrative for many stakeholders involved. Snowden showed how the US government spies on everything it possibly can, Constitution be damned. that was back when our most intrusive devices were our brand new smart phones.
I think they're claiming things only get sent to Facebook when you turn recording on. But it seems like many people forget to turn recording off, which may be by design. And I still don't get how it's considered OK for them to view everything you record. I doubt this is an opt-in feature.
I love the idea of smart glasses. The problem is that any of the useful features the glasses could be capable of won't be allowed.
Imagine in real time having your glasses rank women from 0-10/10 and making women who are 7-/10 naked or at least slutty dressed. Covering up all women who are 6/10 or worse in full black garbs like the Muslim chicks so no one has to look at their Lululemon ass cracks. Immediately, doing background/online checks for people's faces, gathering their real name and then cross checking if the person works for government authorities or not.
Imagine too if during a conversation with someme, the glasses in real time analyzed what was being said and the way in which the person said it then giving you a probability of whether they were telling the truth or lying.
Instant stats displayed for people including estimated age, location of origin, race, IQ, political leanings etc...

the same kind of person that owns a smartphone and doesn't think they're being spied on.
A set of surveillance glasses that sends everything you see to Facebook? To reveal my own naivite, how is this allowed?
