Meritocracy isn’t a bad thing if you can somehow enforce it. I’m guessing he went in that direction.
Yeah but that just de-facto results in ethnic hierarchy/segregation.
Sure, and we can have that, all on the same team, if everyone knows their place.
The fact is; the top percentile in Black is still above average for Whites. If they're so above White average that they're making world changing discoveries, it doesn't make sense to force them to be with their below average society.
The problem happens when people forget their place and get resentful of the people higher on the ladder, instead of grateful that they get to benefit from a much more competent ally.
The cynic in me wants to assert that part of the issue is that a large enough chunk of the people higher up the ladder aren't really working in the interests of society overall and instead are just trying to make out like bandits for their own personal goals.
