Regardless of anyone's political leanings, who does this at a sports bar during the biggest game of the year? It felt like the owner was trying to make a point rather than just letting customers enjoy the event they came for. It completely killed the energy, and a ton of people (including myself) just paid our tabs and left immediately. If you're looking for a spot that actually prioritizes sports, avoid this place.
<< Complains that a country bar owner "isn't a real sports fan" because they changed the channel during a musical halftime performance
<< "Real sports fan" Redditor ragequits, pays their tab & storms out of said bar with two quarters remaining in the biggest football game of the season.

Apparently playing a completely irrelevant halftime performance is "prioritizing sports".
I'll bet this douchebag would also be annoyed if the owner muted the commercials because that's somehow not "prioritizing sports".
