Steve Bannon went to Epstein to arrange meetings with Ehud Barak while Bannon was in Trump's Whitehouse in 2017. Why would Trump investigate one of his master's fixers?

Bannon was never a Trump ally and he screwed him over. There is a reason Trump removed him early in his presidency.

Trump's first term was gutted because he had no allies around him including the VP.
