I vaguely pay attention to the Premier League. People who pretend football is chess despite it being filled with hood monkeys are cringe.

Yes… the “literal players” aren’t players, they’re the equivalent of NPCs they do pre selected inputs they were chosen for. Thats why there’s only one player on the field for each side actually in charge of the group and even they are taking inputs from the coordinators.
Come on dude, you and I both now that despite the play calls, players can audible and even change plays depending on what they see on the field. Look you obviously want to be an asshole here, and pretend football is some deep intellectual experience. It's not but whatever, so you win.
