Something happened to Trump after his first term. The only thing he has in common with this past version of himself is that he still hates the Kurds (twitter.com)

Reproducing parts of the image quote for people who can't see it. This is from John Bolton:

On the Saturday before Easter at six thirty p.m., I had a somewhat bizarre conversation. He did almost all the talking, starting with "Rex was terrible" and then explaining why, focusing on a decision to commit $200 million for Syrian reconstruction. Trump didn't like it: "I want to build up our country, not others." As a US Agency for International Development alumnus, I supported using US foreign assistance to advance national-security objectives, but I also knew such efforts had their weaknesses as well as strengths. I tried to get a word in edgewise, but Trump rolled right along, saying periodically, "I know you get this."

On Easter Monday, Trump called again. I asked, "How's the Easter Egg Roll going, Mr. President?" "Great," he said as Sarah Sanders, her children, and others came in and out of the oval, and then returned to his Saturday-night monologue, saying, "I want to get out of these horrible wars [in the Middle East]." "We're killing ISIS for countries that are our enemies," which I took to mean Russia, Iran, and Assad's Syria. He said his advisors were divided into two categories, those who wanted to stay "forever," and those who wanted to stay "for a while." By contrast, Trump said, "I don't want to stay at all. I don't like the Kurds. They ran from the Iraqis, they ran from the Turks, the only time they don't run is when we're bombing all around them with F-18s." He asked, "What should we do?" Figuring the Easter Egg Roll might not be the best time to discuss Middle East strategy, I [...]

45 Trump is clearly a different person than 47 Trump. Now you might say John Bolton is a snake and he simply fabricated this conversation, but I would strongly disagree given that this account is credible and completely consistent with Trump's reported feuds with Bolton during his first term. It is simply untenable to think that he was performing as a non-interventionist the entire time to conceal a ZOG agenda, even in private conversations with his advisors.

Keep in mind that after this conversation happened, Trump ordered the US to pull out of Syria and the bureaucracy actually disobeyed his direct orders behind his back.

I don't know what kind of coercive force Miriam Adelson, Mark Levin, Netanyahu et al have on Trump, but it is clearly extremely powerful.

It's possible that Trump wouldn't just do every thing the Adelson gang wanted of his own accord, but he has been close with Jews his whole life. His mentor was Roy Cohn. He was always going to listen to them over his voter base. He's a creature of NYC real estate, not Montana, West Virginia, etc. That's before you even factor in the truck loads of money and possible blackmail.

I judge people by their actions, and the fact is that Trump made crucial geopolitical decisions in his first term that the deep state had to illegally overrule. Syria was much more important to Israel than it appeared to be, in hindsight. But current Trump is making the opposite decisions and selling them to the public like Trump steaks.

The reason I'm saying this is because it points to a hand behind the curtain that is so heavy it's completely flattening Trump as a person and MAGA as a movement. The interesting question is, what is it? Is it the threat of the Epstein files to the system or to Trump? Is it pure threats to himself or his family?

Or is it the Samson Option?

Is it the threat of the Epstein files to the system or to Trump?

The former maybe, but as Tucker and many others have pointed out there's no way anything seriously damaging to Trump would have stayed under wraps during the 4 years they were throwing everything and the kitchen sink at him. If there was anything there it would have been used to take him out long ago, possibly before the 2020 election. Tucker suggested that the Epstein files coverup is about Israel, and while I don't know how true that is I suspect it's closer to the truth than a theory the left latched onto the minute it became convenient.

Trump still moved the embassy to Jerusalem, killed Soleimani, bombed Syria, and adopted the IHRA definition for them in his first term.

I didn't say he was hostile or even neutral to Jewish interests. But he clearly went against a major point in their agenda.

Is this major? The $200 million Trump didn't want to spend on Syria seems like him just viewing that type of soft power as a waste, and he didn't want to bomb ISIS because they were attacking Syria and Iran.

Yes, it is major. If the US stops backing the Kurds/SDF/other "freedom" militias then Assad doesn't fall, and Greater Israel can't go ahead. But the State Department kept US troops in the region and kept the money flowing and Assad goes down shortly after. Then, whaddya know, Israel simply gobbles up parts of Syria, lebensraum style.

OK, I see what you're saying. I think a more plausible explanation is that he just didn't understand that situation because he wasn't invested. That fits there not being consequences to his own admin defying him.

He is a snake. You should assume that every word out of his mouth is a self-serving lie.

[Jewish puppet] is clearly a different person than [jewish puppet].

Not in any meaningful way.

I always got the impression that after Trump lost his second election, he realised the game was rigged so his only way to win again was to make a deal with the devil (so-to-speak) which he did.
