Either everyone with something important to say has to develop the artistic and technical skill to put out hand-crafted work of this sort (ahead of time, just in case they're going to end up using it) or they have to hire people who have these skills and rely on them to make the content according to given designs.

You're advocating hand-cuffing non-"creatives" by arbitrarily withholding technical tools from them that historically have been hoarded by "creatives," who are overwhelmingly metropolitan liberal elites.
