he talks big and says stupid shit, but let's not forget the things that have actually gotten done:

  1. the border is actually secure again. the rate of illegal immigration has plummeted, this is a win no matter what.

  2. USAID is gone. this was a major source of money laundering for the leeches in DC.

  3. the cities he sent the national guard to are actually being cleaned up, and public support for safety has increased dramatically because of this.

has he fallen massively short on DOGE, legal immigration, government spending, and foreign wars? no shit, but remember what the alternative was going to be.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Donald Trump is a terrible president, and it speaks volumes to how shit our government has gotten that he was by far the best candidate in 2024. I will be the first person to vote for someone better, but for that to happen there needs to be someone better.

Also most of the problems of his second term are basically things that the Israeli mafia made him do. Not that it makes him a hero, but those things would've happened no matter who won 2024, as sad as that is.

Yes, that's true, which is why I never agreed with the "stay home and don't vote" people. He's the best president we've had in decades. But we can still call out his betrayal.

You have to get the best guy in, and then try to hold him accountable, as you say.

I do have a problem with people who flip on a dime like a cultist and defend everything Trump does. Suppress the Epstein files? It's a Democrat HOAX! Obama wrote them, and also the files don't exist. Trump said it. Must be true.

I'm not contesting that he was the better candidate in 2024, but it has been reported that both Biden and Bush vetoed Israeli attempts to strike Iran - let alone the fact that they did not participate in an attack on a country they were 'negotiating' with.

Who knows if it's true? It wouldn't surprise me though. Trump's allegiance to Israel First is extreme.

Biden had more bargaining chips since he was doing their will domestically. That's my theory. It's no secret that American Jews vote 85% left.

A sadly low bar that we find ourselves with. There have been achievements, yes. Some, but not many and not much versus the magnitude unresolved and set against the people.

Don't count on that, not 100% at least

I'm pretty sure the calls for public safety would have increased pretty dramatically if those cities were on fire as well, possibly even moreso. I think it's more the crime and destruction that lead to the support rather than the response, hence why some people around here were wondering if we really should save them from themselves.

You're definitely right about USAID though, that's a good thing even if there's far more left to clean up.

Immigration is more mixed, yeah he's done more than the democrats and most of the republicans as well to secure the border and fix the situation but then he ruins it by coming out and saying "maybe we really should have illegal worker programs though." He also doesn't seem to be actually serious about sending 10 million+ people back despite his recent posts.

No, if this was the case the BLM riots would have triggered that response. The cities were literally on fire. Nothing happened. Nobody cares about average Americans even a little bit except for Trump and a few other people.

The normal, but oblivious liberals do have their limit even if at times it doesn't seem that way, plus there's everyone in the middle.

The moderate left has been pretty demotivated and moving more towards "I don't want to talk about politics" because they know everyone is pretty sick of the left, and even they don't agree with a lot of "progressive" left beliefs.

Yet we're still probably going to lose midterms because of how Trump has handled Epstein, Israel, and h1b visas so we just threw all that political momentum away.

Yeah, because Trump won. Were it the other way around, it would be "I don't want to talk about those people getting arrested for misgendering."

Yet we're still probably going to lose midterms because of how Trump has handled Epstein, Israel, and h1b visas so we just threw all that political momentum away.

This I agree with. It seems his chief of staff is Baghdad Bob.

Maybe trump the turnip can explain to me why my new neighbors above me can't speak a word if english, nor the family of shitskins that moved across the way. They can't speak english either.

probably because they got in under the last administration. Remember it hasn't even been a year since the border was wide the fuck open. if that's not the case, then they're probably H1Bs which is a separate issue.

Just moved to another slush fund.

and that is?

If anything, I've seen nothing more than ICE and NG troops getting brushed aside by street/gutter trash

the proof is in the statistics. murder rates and thievery rates sharply declined. the protests surrounding ice buildings are nothing but theater, as they are actually getting through the crowds all the time and making arrests.

Nope. Not at all. Maybe trump the turnip can explain to me why my new neighbors above me can't speak a word if english, nor the family of shitskins that moved across the way.

Those particular nons are here to replace us legally. That seems to be an important distinction for republicans, who generally only care about dealing with the illegal immigration, when all immigration is a problem.
