Dunno about these, but many of these are photoshopped as well.
Also, for many people in Europe, this can be a safety problem if your exact country is known. They can spend some of the police resources they spend on ignoring crime on prosecuting you for speech offenses.
yeah thats why I hardly use x, but weirdly enough it shows my location is the US, when I am in Europe (no VPN). Could be that x doesnt portray some countries to protect people. Would certainly be in their interest. But that also means they could show certain people they dont like from nigeria or somewhere else.

One of my favorite plays in social deduction games where one player knows every role/class is to declare to everyone every role they have, but lie about only a couple of them. Everyone else heard theirs accurately, and can confirm with their neighbors that they did too, and assume everyone's information is accurate, leaving the rest of my team to run roughshod freely over the minor purposeful errors.

Wouldn't this be caused by location hiding software? ie: that's not the real locations, just the "spoof"?
