She literally embarrassed herself and reneged on border control for personal gain. She made a national spectacle of herself throwing her constituents under the bus.

I am sure she has recieved threats but I think the most likely answer is that she realized she fucked up by being so vocal about H1B1 and then advocating open borders for illegal laborers.
